Water damage restoration in Melbourne

Burst pipe, overflowing sink or storm water the first day matters most. We extract the water, dry carpets and floors, and sanitise what was affected.

Water pooled across a hard floor

01Overview

Water Damage Restoration, done properly.

Water spreads further than it looks. It wicks under skirting boards, into carpet underlay and up plasterboard, and mould can start within a couple of days if materials stay wet.

We stop the damage getting worse first: extract standing water, lift carpet where the underlay is soaked, and set up air movers and dehumidifiers. Moisture readings tell us when materials are actually dry not just dry to the touch.

05Questions

Water Damage Restoration FAQs

What should I do before you arrive?

If it's safe, stop the water at the source, turn off power to affected areas, and lift items off wet carpet. Don't use a household vacuum on water.

Can wet carpet be saved?

Often yes, if the water was clean and drying starts quickly. Carpet affected by sewage or left wet for days usually needs replacing.

How long does drying take?

Typically three to five days with equipment running, depending on the materials and how far the water travelled.

Will you work with my insurer?

We provide photos, moisture readings and an itemised invoice you can submit with your claim.
